Q. Am I able to obtain CEU's by attending AFAA PA Chapter meetings?
A. Not by attending the meetings, however, some of our education session presenters are able to offer CEU's.

Q. Am I able to obtain CEU's by attending AFAA PA Training offerings?
A. Yes. Our training almost always offers CEU's. 

Q. Am I able to obtain NICET contact hours by attending AFAA PA Chapter meetings?
A. Yes. Attending AFAA PA Chapter and/ or Board meetings, events, and joining committees earn contact hours towards NICET certification. 

Q. Do I automatically become a member of AFAA National if I become a member of AFAA PA?
A. NO. Although we are affiliated and do share common members, they are two distinct memberships. That holds true for AFAA DC/MD/VA, AFAA NJ, etc.

Q. Do I automatically become a member of AFAA PA if I become a member of AFAA National?
A. NO. Although we are affiliated and do share common members, they are two distinct memberships. That holds true for AFAA DC/MD/VA, AFAA NJ, etc.

Q. Should I join AFAA National or AFAA PA?
A. That depends, if you are more interested in the industry, codes, standards, etc on the most current and national level, then AFAA National is for you. They have great webinars and online training, and the National Conference is fantastic. If you are more interested in local codes & standards, and issues facing the Mid-Atlantic region, maybe AFAA PA is for you. We offer in-person meetings five times a year, and in-person classroom training (usually) once a year. If you're interested in all of this, join both, it's worth it! 

Q. Do you provide Hybrid Chapter Meetings via Zoom or Teams?

A. Yes. We currently offer our Chapter meetings live via Zoom and In-person. 

Q. How often to you host Chapter Meetings and where are they?

A. We hold five Chapter Meetings per year in January, March, May, September, and November at the Delaware County Emergency Services Training Center located at 1600 Calcon Hook Drive Sharon Hill, PA 19079. 

Q. Do you have host in person Chapter Meetings at another location?

A. Yes we have, and are looking to continue that in 2025 in order to bring the live in-person meetings closer to our Members. We have in the past visited Wilmington, DE, Lancaster, PA, and Reading, PA.
