PA-AFAA Individual Membership FAQQ. If I join AFAA Pennsylvania, will I automatically become a member of AFAA National? A. No. AFAA National has separated itself "membership-wise" from the State Associations. AFAA PA is still affiliated with National and can still take advantage of training, discounts, etc. We still work very closely with AFAA National.
Q. Should I become a member of AFAA National or AFAA Pennsylvania? A. The short answer is we encourage both. If you are mainly interested in meeting face to face and discussing and learning about local issues and codes & standards currently adopted in the Mid-Atlantic region (PA, NJ, DE) then AFAA PA is for you. If you are mostly concerned with remote learning, webinars, national issues, codes & standards currently adopted in the United States and its territories, etc. then maybe AFAA National is for you. If you are interested in all of this... then why not become a member of both?

Q. How often to you host Chapter Meetings and where are they? A. We hold five Chapter Meetings per year in January, March, May, September, and November at the Delaware County Emergency Services Training Center located at 1600 Calcon Hook Drive Sharon Hill, PA 19079.
Q. Do you have host in person Chapter Meetings at another location? A. Yes we have, and are looking to continue that in 2025 in order to bring the live in-person meetings closer to our Members. We have in the past visited Wilmington, DE, Lancaster, PA, and Reading, PA. |
